Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is the Northeastern terminus of the Nickel City Line. The railroad interchanges with the Pennsylvania and New York Central Railroads at this junction. The Nickel City Line maintains a small interchange yard and locomotive fueling facility just West of the town. Across the Susquehanna River is the City of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where a weary train crew can seek some R&R during their layover period.
